Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue rescues, rehomes and places Great Pyrenees dogs within Virginia, Maryland, D.C. and parts of West Virginia.  AGPR is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. The headquarters is located in Richmond, Virginia.

Carolina Great Pyrenees Rescue is a non-profit based out of the Charlotte, NC metro area that works to rescue and rehome abandoned and abused Pyrs in North and South Carolina.

Based out of Greenville, SC, k9.5 is a foster home based rescue and sanctuary dedicated to helping Great Pyrenees, other giant breeds, senior and special needs canines. With a focus on helping those most often overlooked in shelters due to size, age or need, we provide the animals with medical, physical, behavioral, and emotional support.

We provide rescue care for Great Pyrenees dogs that are lost, abandoned, neglected or surrendered and place them in loving permanent homes.

Our mission is to help the innocent sweet pups that don't have a voice. Many of the dogs come in sick, emaciated and covered in matts, we are here to provide funding for the vet bills and grooming. We also fund the feeding of the pups while they are in foster care and boarding...

Great Pyrenees Rescue Montana, is staffed entirely by a very small group of volunteers, whose purpose is to facilitate the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of abused, unwanted, displaced, and abandoned Great Pyrenees and Great Pyrenees mixes into safe, caring companion, or working homes. 

This is a sanctuary and rescue dedicated to finding homes for Great Pyrenees dogs in need. The Pyrs who are awaiting placement have a 5 acre fenced pasture to run and play in, 150 square foot indoor/outdoor kennels with large Kuranda beds and blankets.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.
